5.0 out of 5 stars Excellent Pattern Sourcebook 11 Feb 2012
Format:Paperback|Verified Purchase
Lots of patterns that can be adapted for various projects (like house renovation, or clothing design etc.)
Also very useful for art-school students, my son finds is very inspirational for his dec. composition lessons.
I'd recommend all the books from these series as a source of inspiration but also very good informative books on visual art from around the world.

5.0 out of 5 stars Beautiful book! 25 Sep 2013

I love Japanese design. This book is very visual as well as informative - it is organized by types of patterns ( water, clouds, flowers, etc.) Very inspirational - I love the unique way they turn objects into patterns that keep the flow and life of that object instead of just becoming static.
