"If you want to learn about Gann methods, this book is the place to start. Jim Hyerczyk has produced a no–nonsense primer that should be on every student′s shelf. Plus, the book addresses the practical challenge of putting the methods to work."––Glen R. Ring, Editor/Analyst, Trends in Futures

Pattern, Price & Time proved to be a bit of a disappointment. I was looking for a book to explain the application of Gann Theory to securities trading, but the book neglected a rather significant part of Gann's work. William Gann's use of significant anniversary dates and special numbers (ie.with some linked to biblical references, others to astronomy) is what distinguishes his work from the miriad of other technical trading authors. Pattern, Price and Time did provide some useful technical trading concepts. In neglecting the more esoteric aspects of Gann's work, however, it was little more than a dry recitation of technical trading rules.

What promises a discussion of Gann Theory in Trading Systems turns out to be one of the biggest disappointments in the trading arena. The author deliberately withholds most of the important insights from the reader and justifies his doing by sarcastically pointing to a presumable loss in his advantage. If somebody is so afraid to write about his chosen theme why write at all ?
