Patrick Woodrow was born in 1971. He was educated at the University of Cambridge, where he graduated with first class honours in English. He worked as a strategy consultant for 15 years in London, Seattle and Singapore before becoming a writer. To date, his books have been translated into seven languages including Chinese, which led to Double Cross becoming a no.3 bestseller in Taiwan. Passionate about the great outdoors, his thrillers often draw on personal experiences, ranging from diving with sharks to climbing volcanoes and exploring third world jungles.
