Patio showcases Gorky's early potential as teenagers triumphantally. Fromthis album we can see the map being drawn out on the road ahead for one ofthe most consistent and influential welsh bands of all time. From theopening innocent punk/pop of 'peanut dispenser', to the darker 'lladd eichgwraig' (killing your wife) to the sublime 'mr groovy' this albumshowcases all of gorky's early influences and lays down the groundwork forall their following material. A must have for all fans of Gorky's.

Wow! I can't believe how a bunch of kids could create such great music. Actually, with the modern advent of drugs readily available for high schoolers, it's no suprise. I mean this is like psychedelic drugs for the children of the corn! Maybe Malachai would have been a lot happier if he had listened to some Gorky's songs out their in the Kansas corn fields. The first song, "Peanut Dispenser" should be called "LSD Dispenser", because that's what they must of had in their Mom's garage to come up with this stuff. Their mom even tell's them to shut up after one of the songs. She is speaking British so you can't tell exactly what she says, especially if you're a punk from Cheyenne, Wyoming like me. They sing most of the songs in some sort of fancy shamrock-style language that makes it sound even more tripped out. It sounds like leprechauns in a Timothy Leary dreamwarp of mushrooms colorized with
beautiful sandpipes and paper snakes and buzzards. Wow, these young lads have it down. Wow, this review is now coming to an end,
