Carey Kriz's book on the future of health care is right on target. We all need to take a close read and understand our role in our own health care. The role of technology can help - and we need access to our own health records. As I read this book, I thought about my own experience with the health care system - a complex web of specialists and nobody who knows how to put all the pieces together for me. Like Mr. Kriz points out, the days of a country doctor who understands and treats the individual are gone, so personalized health care needs to be reserected again in a new form! Technology is the tool to help us get there!
