I'm a great believer in using inspirational quotes each day to promote positive thinking and this book is effectively 3 books in one - The Friendship Book, The birthday Book and The Bedside Book.
That gives three quotes to inspire you each and every day! Although these books were written some time ago (in the 1950s and 1960s), the thoughts and ideas still hold true today. Indeed the charm of the author is one of it's more appealing characteristics.

I bought this book for my mother in law who remembers the poems from when she was younger than she is now. She was very pleased when she got it and that put me in her good books for 'long time'. Unfortunately I have only had her read me a couple of the poems to date but I can wait for more..!!
