This book really does explain complex concepts in clear cut language with relevant clinical information about the pathophysiology of common disorders. The illustrations are clear and accurate without the clutter that can get in the way of learning, and help you to visualize and conceptionalize the information being presented in an easy-to-understand format with a little humour added in. Also helpful features that include overviews of common disorders using a systems approach; associated signs and symptoms; relevant diagnostic tests and findings and quick quizzes at the end of every chapter to enhance your learning. I highly recommend this edition especially if you are on a tight budget like myself. Otherwise spend the extra money to get the latest updated edition. Don't just take my word for it use the search through this book facility and see for yourself!
