1.0 out of 5 stars gives the wrong pages 12 Feb 2014
By victor lachica - Published on Amazon.com
Format:Kindle Edition|Verified Purchase
i bought the kindle edition and went fine reading it. but when i go with my review, it would searched for the word but would give you the wrong pages. if the 7th edition book will tell you on its table contents the exact pages, but the search would bring you to the wrong page itself. something wrong with your kindle/digital edition. i rather go with the traditional paper one since i could go to the exact page i want to go.

4.0 out of 5 stars A really valuable textbook for students and doctors too! 24 Jun 2014

A knowledge of basic medical science is important before you get into this text. e.g cellular biology, biochemistry. Useful for both premed and medical undergrads, this textbook is valuable to MD's who hope to continue their knowledge about disease as science provides increased understanding.
This is an excellent way to understand the elements of pathology: about what a disease really is. Example: the numerous schematic presentations are terrific.
Well recommended; I just bought three copies: two for new medical students and one for myself (a pathologist of many years in practice). Seven editions is a terrific record - unusual - a tribute to the editors and contributors!
