If you are the kind of GM who likes a framework to inspire you and that you can build from, then this is an excellent product, laying the foundations for several whole campaigns exploring the lost cities within. If you are looking for a ready to run adventure, look to the adventure paths as there isn't a great deal here that can be run straight away.

Really great stuff! 17 Aug. 2011
By Patrick Rinker - Published on Amazon.com
Format: Paperback
I'm new to the Pathfinder system (and even relatively new to being the DM), so I picked up this book from a local comic book store hoping to find it useful in creating a campaign. Luckily, it was. The book is stuffed full of ideas for campaigns. There are lots of full-color maps, encounter tables, and a few monster variants to help make each area really feel unique. The hardest part is deciding which of the 6 featured cities I want to have our first adventure in!

One note about the book: a few of the cities have notes like "this area is not for low-level players!" Since I'm just starting a campaign myself, this advice is a tiny bit discouraging. Still, there are plenty of fun ideas in the book for levels of all parties. Just more possibilities for mid-level and high-level characters.
The content is really nice, with a good amount of direction and information 1 April 2015

The content is really nice, with a good amount of direction and information. I like that the settings are a bit open to interpretation and the routes the PCs must take are really up to the GM.

"Lost Cities" opens new possibilities 17 Mar. 2011
By Dustin A. Clark - Published on Amazon.com
Format: Paperback
Once again, Paizo delivers with another great Pathfinder product. For those who love their gaming a little old school, this product delivers. It's full of crunchy details and flavor text alike, and is presented in full color. Even fans of other editions of the world's most popular role playing game will find this volume useful for the many great ideas present on each page. It's perfect for those playing in the Pathfinder Campaign Setting world of Golarion, but any gamer or game master could find much to enjoy and use in here.
