Amazing art.

Though all of the stories are on the Magic site since it was a web comic I like to have the paper form when something like this comes around. The art is wonderful and the stories give you just a little background to a few of the planeswalkers. Great book to grab for a reread, first read, or just to have as an art book.

I read this entire book in about 3 days. The funniest chapter was when Chandra was being escorted up the mountain in Zendikar in search of "the eye" (you should read it for yourself!). The artwork is also very nice and I plan on looking at the pictures again some other time. Overall, a wonderful addition to any MTG library!!

First off, I have only played MTG: Duels of the planeswalkers on the xbox and have never played the card game. I also never read these webcomics online. This book is all about the art. On the back it shows 24 different artists and let me tell you, they are all great. The story is well written and flows well with the constant change of artists. At the front of the book it tells you a little about the Planeswalkers and in the back has some pictorials of each. This book also has a section in the back about the authors and artists. The only thing I can say is bad about this is the binding on my copy is tight. What I mean is you really have to bend the pages back to see the inside images but for the price this is defiantly worth it. A new Planeswalker book comes out soon, check it out on amazon.
