This is a fantastic book for those of you that are new to patent writing but for me it helped me understand the underlying principles of writing a patent (l want to become a patent professional). Although it is based on USA made patents it is applicable to UK as the formats for patents such as the abstract, claims and drawings are similar--although if you are wanting to patent in UK or further Europe dont buy this book if you want info on patent law! I would recommend this book highly!

Not a Great Book 26 Feb 2008
By Yours Truly - Published on Amazon.com
Format:Paperback
This book is heavy with self-promotion and devoted to convincing the reader that only a patent attorney can perform the magic. This is reinforced by touching on issues in an incomplete way and saying "this is too hard for you, so ask your patent attorney." Also the organization is not great - it jumps around a bit and contradicts itself in at least one place (whether a provisional patent should have a claim). "Patent it Yourself" and other books are better.
