Product Description

Product Description

Sleek, light and surprisingly warm, the Nano Puff Pullover's modus operandi is one of versatility. It's an insulated pullover in spring squalls, a sleek micro-belay parka on chilly rock routes and a thermal midlayer all in one. The Nano blocks wind, sheds snow and traps heat - even when wet - with the best available synthetic insulation: PrimaLoft ONE (60-g) is incredibly warm, low-bulk, compressible and hydrophobic. We've improved the fit with more shaping through the torso and waist, and refined the deep-venting half-zip with a soft, wicking interior storm flap and zipper garage. We also resized the classic Nano Puff "brick" quilt pattern, added horizontal quilt lines on the side panels, and used a burly thread for enhanced durability. The 100% recycled polyester ripstop shell glides effortlessly as an outer or midlayer, and it all packs down to practically nothing and stuffs into a single chest pocket that has a carabiner clip-in loop. Elasticized cuffs and hem seal out wind and trap warmth.

Check on any other website and you'll find that the nano puff jacket should have a full length zip. This item is not the jacket but the nano puff pullover . The picture and description are otherwise correct. I wanted the jacket so returned this without even opening it. It did seem quite light but no idea how it fits or how warm it is. Buy it only if u want a half length zip on the front. Amazon returns process made the whole thing rather painless though i wish they hadnt called it the nano puff jacket to start with.

Best jacket yet 27 Jan. 2010

I bought this jacket for layering, walking, skiing, and just running errands. It is terrific, light weight, warm, great for layering under my ski jacket on very cold days.
I also wear it in the neighborhood for walking or just driving and doing errands.

Great Jacket 18 Nov. 2010

This is an awesome lightweight jacket. I used it on a two night hike/camp in temperatures in the low 30's and never felt cold. Not noticable to wear or constricting. Blocks wind completely. Very lightweight and compact. I've taken to keeping it with me where ever I go in my car as my go to cool/cold weather gear. Only minor regret is not getting the full zipper for ease of dress.
Nice but overpriced 11 Jan. 2015

I received one as a present from someone who has seen me wearing similar tops in colder weather. In my collection, it falls into the lighter, softer range. I prefer a pair of side pockets to a single chest one if forced to make a choice. The sizing is accurate. I don't find it to be warmer or more weather resistant than the less expensive ones I usually wear. Unless you're buying at a discount, half the inflated price is paying for the logo.

My son showed up for a ski weekend wearing one of these jackets. I laughed at him and told him he was going to freeze. He told me to wear it that night to take the dog for a walk. I could not believe how warm and toastie I was at 5 degrees outside. Fablous, light weight, good looking, and very warm. i bought one for myself.

The Patagonia Nanopuff Pullover is the best jacket I've ever owned. I love this thing. It's soft, it's UNBELIEVABLY warm. My fiancé likes to joke they forgot to put the insulation in because it's so thin but it's incredibly warm and my research on the Primaloft One fill is that it retains 90%+ of your body heat even when wet which is something down fill simply can't do. It packs up into it's own pocket and measures 7" x 6" x 4" when packed. Not that it spends much time that way, as I wear it all the time. But originally I bought it as a mid-layer for when I am back country snowmobiling, and so when I go out I do pack it down for storage. It's super light in weight, and other than feeling so warm you can't really tell you're wearing anything. The material is very soft and comfortable. I will say that the material is not going to be heavy duty enough for this jacket to be worn as the outer layer when bushwhacking or otherwise doing things that would abrade the surface of the coat- it would tear, I'm certain of it. But for running around town or using it as a mid-layer under a hard shell, I think this jacket is a fantastic option. Shop around, because you don't have to pay $150 for this coat. I saw them for as low as $79 on some websites in certain colors.
