Feature length TV film starring Victoria Wood and Julie Walters as ill-matched sisters, unwillingly reunited on a television show. Pat (Walters) is a soap queen who is embarassed to be associated with her down-to-Earth waitress sibling (Woods), but reconciles herself with the fact that it will be good publicity for her forthcoming book. However, a snooping tabloid journalist is trying to dig the dirt about her past, so the two sisters join forces to track down their loose-cannon mother before the newshound can get to her and extract the family skeletons.
