A novella with an interesting premise.
Lucy inherits half a Somerset vineyard but there are conditions attached, and the co-owner is handsome Dominic LeFevre.
Lucy has a year to work in the business and convince both herself and Mr. LeFevre that it's all a good idea.
Okay, so we know what's going to happen here! It's a gentle, well presented story with well written sex scenes, but for me, lacking in a little drama.

This was a nice little romance, with nice characters, Lucy and Dominic, who were likeable. Set in the world of a commercial vineyard, Lucy and Dominic have to work together for one year to satisfy the conditions set in the Will of Lucy's Godfather Nick. This is going to prove very tricky, parly because Dominic doesn't want a partner in the vineyard but especially as they are immediately drawn to each other and the sexual tension between them is almost making the Kindle smoke. It is a nice little read but sadly, for me, it seemed that something was missing in the story, I was waiting for the "big misunderstanding" to occur to throw a spanner in the works of their relationship but it just never happened and I felt it left the story just a litte flat.

Lucy Morgan's godfather, Nick, had always promised her that he'd leave her a drink in his will, but Lucy never expected her bequest to be half of an English vineyard! Only after returning to England from Tenerife did she learn the valuable bequest came with a condition: Lucy was to spend a year working in the business.

Not only must Lucy work hard to get to grips with the wine-making process, she has to deal with an overwhelming attraction to her sexy new business partner, Dominic LeFevre. But both Dominic and Lucy must overcome prejudices and preconceptions to have any hope of a happy ending.

Passionate Harvest is a fabulous contemporary romance with an unusual, atmospheric setting. It has Nell Dixon's trademark warmth, humour and smooth prose, as well as a very steamy interlude in deserted field ;0) If you haven't yet sampled Nell Dixon's writing, this is an excellent place to start.
