Excellent 9 Dec 2011
Format:Hardcover
I blush to admit that I picked up a copy of this book in a high street store while killing time and read the piece on the Porsche 962. That was enough, and I ordered my copy from Amazon, partly to save money, but also because the store copy was a bit tatty, having been picked up by loads of oiks like me. What grabbed me was that the text conveyed some feeling about what the car was like to drive, a bit more thoughtfully than 'THIS IS EPIC!!!'. The rest of the book lives up to that promise, so thoroughly recommended.

This really is an exceptionally well put together book with some awesome photography of some of the most amazing sports and racing cars ever built. Comes with an audio CD of the sounds these amazing cars make, which is a nice touch.

You don't have to be a Pink Floyd fan to love this book, but it does help. You need to be a car fan though. These cars and stories are unbelievable and all in the hands of one person. Great reading.
