About the Author
Nancy Austin earned her MBA in 1977 from the Graduate School of Management at the University of California at Los Angeles, and was a management conultant for two years with Southern California consulting firms, including her own. She then spent four years at Hewlett-Packard, where she ran the company's management-development seminars. Now president of Not Just Another Publishing Company, a member of the Tom Peters Group, she is also the co-author of The Assertive Woman. She lives in the Santa Cruz Mountains in California with her husband, Bill Cawley, and their son Jeff.
