5.0 out of 5 stars The Passion 3 Jun 2003
By H. King
Format:Mass Market Paperback
This is the final book of a brilliant trilogy. In fact, this trilogy happens to be my favourate by L.J.Smith.
In this, the final book, we join the group of talented teens a week or so after the end of the second book. Gabriel has defected and rejoined Zetes in an attempt to curb the curse of psychic vamparism placed on him at the end of the first book.
In an attempt to bring him back, Kaitlin follows him, leaving the rest of the teens to figure out how to stop Zetes.
It's a very good end to the series, the love triangle gets sorted out in a way I hadn't actually forseen, and the characters gain so much by the end, in both experience and personality. They are all much older in perspective than they were at the begining.
I'd recomend anyone to read this series ^^

5.0 out of 5 stars i loved this one, too. 23 Aug 1998
By A Customer
Format:Mass Market Paperback
i loved this book so much i've lost got half of the pages jammed in it, looseleaf because i've read it so many times, the pages are torn sometimes from holding it too hard, the cover is *long* gone. the characters in this were so wonderful, you had to love them. the ending was beyond incredibly done, i loved it so much it depresses me every time i read it that i'm not Kait. you will most likely fall completely in love with Gabriel, who's got the Mulder-sadness-puppy dog appeal, along with the stand-offish-"like-i-care" thing. . . he's perfect. . . but that's not the only reason you should read it- it has an intelligent plot, and Ms. Smith writes it with complete abandon, as if tossing herself completely into the story and weaving a beautiful tapestry of intrigue.

This book is amazing. It finishs the trilogy off well. Kaitlyn goes to join the dark lodge and Mr. Zetes, hoping to destroy the evil crystal. Sounds a little far fetched, but this book is great. It has everything - climaxes, romance...

I wont bother going into the explaination of the story as it has been done by my pre-desessor reviewers............but I have been a massive fan of LJ Smith ever since i read her first Night World book which was Dark Angel.........then after a gap of 12 years i managed to get hold of all her books and this trilogy was by FAR the hardest to get hold of!!

Well worth the wait. Smith sytle of writing is writen purly from the soul...........she pours everything into her stories and thats why so many people who read then can relate and fall in love with the characters!

Get hold of all her books a dedicate a few weekends to get lost the world world created by LJane!!

This was the best book in the trilogy!!! I think all of the other books in the trilogy were leading up to this moment!!! The ending was SSSOOOOSSSSSOOOSSSSSOOOO surprising!!!!! It just made the book even better!!! If you liked this book, I suggest you read other books of L.J. Smith's: The Night World series, The Forbidden Game trilogy, The Secret Circle trilogy, and The Vampire Diaries series-I recommend all of them, because they're just so good I love them all.

Format:Mass Market Paperback
i absolutely love this book, its soooooo great. It carries on from the 2nd book of the dark visions trilogy, the possessed. although i havent actually read the 2nd book, i didnt actually make much difference. the way l.j.smith writes the book fills you in about all that happened in it. i could'nt put this book down, i ended up reading it within a day. it was fantastic. gabriel has deflected the group and joined mr zetes. kaitlyn also pretends to also do the same in order to try to savegabriel. but she ends up with more than she bargained for. she falls in love with gabriel and te romance scenes almost made me cry, they were so beautiful. will kaitlyn chooserob or gabriel??? buy this book now
