About the Author

E.M. Forster (1879-1970) was born in London and moved to India in 1921 as secretary to the Maharajah of Dewas Senior. 'A Passage to India' is consistently described by critics, readers and listeners alike as his 'masterpiece'.

Nowhere on the product information does it say that it is an ABRIDGED VERSION.

I bought this expecting it to be what it says it is - a reading of the book, but instead when listening to it whilst reading the book I found that the audio version is shortened, missing out many pages of the book and full of manipulated sentences.

Had I realised the differences earlier I would have demanded my money back but was it too much to simply expect a product to do what it says on the tin? I was cheated of my money.
