More About the Author

Jennie Walters worked in publishing before deciding to write her own books. She was partly inspired to create the 'Swallowcliffe Hall' trilogy by visits to beautiful old English country houses, and partly by finding a silver housekeeper's chatelaine when clearing out her late father-in-law's flat. As a teenager, she spent a couple of years in a clifftop boarding school in a converted Victorian mansion, with a sweeeping marble staircase and a collection of stuffed birds in glass cases. She now lives with her husband in London and is currently writing more books in the 'Swallowcliffe Hall' series.

Visit Jennie's website,, for fascinating detail into the world of Victorian servants and their masters and mistresses, original photographs, lots of background historical information, and much more!

This book is the first book in the Party Girls series. It is about a girl called Caz who joins a group of friends called Lauren, Michelle, Nikki, Sunny and Jess. They go out and do everything together, but Caz's birthday is coming up and she has told her friends where they are going. However, she has found that they can not go to these wonderful places.......This is the best book I have ever read. All the books in this series are fantastic. They make me feel as though I am one of the characters.
