Interesting, provocative and worth reading 28 Oct. 2014

I had the luck to sit next to Amb. Lyman on a long flight across the country and, much like the cover of this book, was somewhat unsure about what to expect. In person he is endlessly fascinating, observant, intelligent and highly curious. His writing reflects those qualities and he takes you on a journey through the South African political landscape at a pivotal moment in history describing his efforts at being a true partner at a time of dramatic turmoil and change.

This is a wonderful read.
