I ordered Particles of Truth , an indie feature directed by Jennifer Elster for one reason only, to see Gale Harold playing a different role to the one he portrays in Queer as folk. Watching Particles of Truth I was definately not disappointed, the character he plays is very complex and interesting, given Gale a chance to show his tenderness and vulnerbility as an actor.Jennifer Elster was very good also as a woman with a very troubled upbringing, struggling to believe in herself and her ability as an artist. Based around New York over a 48hr time scale I felt I would have liked to have gotten to know the characters a little better, but on the whole I found the film quite satisfying. It was good to see some happiness creeping into the two main characters lives, as a result of them finding each other.
