5.0 out of 5 stars If you love the show, you'll love this.. 3 Mar 2005

This Cd is pretty much as it sounds, just a recording of Radio 2's Parsons and Naylor's Pull Out Sections. However; instead of just giving us four broadcast shows, they've taken their best stuff from different series to make four brilliant shows. This means you're guaranteed to hear stuff you haven't before and all of it is incredibly funny.
It includes many great sketches and songs, and is well worth buying if you have a Radio 2 sense of humour.

5.0 out of 5 stars Comedy at its best!! 18 Dec 2003
Simply put - satire at its best! Parsons and Naylor pull out section looks at the news events from a slightly different perspective, that of the ordinary person. Their brand of whit and humour leaves very few people without aching sides. Recorded live, each episode definately has atmosphere. This compilation CD hardly touches upon the true depth of their work. A definate buy!

5.0 out of 5 stars Rib Splitting 27 Sep 2003
I have always been a fan of the radio 2 show and thought that it was great when they finally brought out a compalation of the best bits.
For those of you who have never heard the show (what have you been doing with your saturday afternoons!) It's basically a current affairs sketch show, it's a bit outdated being as it's the best bits of the 2002 series but is still extremely funny if you have a radio 2 kind of sense of humour.
The series manages to have a dig at celebrities, the war in Iraq, the ramshackle state of the NHS along with other things in lot's of highly amusing sketches.
Can't wait til they bring out the 2003 edition (lots of stuff about David Blane along with handy tips on how to annoy him) but for now this will do very nicely thankyou very much.
