Loved this as we love Paris. Sandrine is a great presenter and we didn't have a problem with her accent. We booked our last trip straight after watching this. Got the book too which is more detailed and has great photography.

I caught a short snippet of this series on Television and was so intrigued that I immediately went online to order it. Having lived in Paris myself for 13 months, you would think I learn't it all, but Sandrine Voillet's informative documentary is wonderful, she doesn't just do all the obvious stuff, but don't worry the Eiffel Tower still plays a starring role. Her historical quips are so interesting, as for Sacre Couer I never knew the origins of it and who knew I was standing close to the most beautiful toilets in the world and never even knew!
Buy this and enjoy. Some of her french may be slightly difficult to catch, but her accent made it a joy to watch!

Not sure if it's the city or Sandrine that ensured I bought this DVD but suffice it to say both offer more than enough to justify purchasing this. You get a real insiders flavour of Paris with all it's quirks and idiosyncracies and if I have one complaint it is that there weren't more episodes! She's perfectly easy to understand BTW, just in case you were put off by the other review.
