The book itself is very nice, well formatted, easy to read, easy to navigate on. I was able to learn about the importance of creating values and setting boundaries. I particularly need to be more firm on the boundaries part with my son. There is a lot more in this book, i'm sure it will help many parents. I really enjoyed reading "Parenting with NLP." It was a quick, concise read, and introduced brand-new ways to incorporate neuro linguistic programming techniques into parenting. Recommended.

Parenting with NLP-How Neuro Linguistic Programing Can Help You Raise Your Girls And Boys

I picked up this book with the hopes of discovering some new way to motivate my grandchildren to do better in school. The book wasn’t disappointing in that respect it did provide a clarification of how to present the motivation from a reward and punishment stand point minus the punishment. Which I will try out to see if it will work. Overall though, I found the book to limited in scope but a good starting point if you’re a new parent or someone who has been too preoccupied with outside commitments to be as involved with your children as you should have been but it is not a definitive work by any account.
It is worth reading, it is short and concise, but lacking in real depth which is why it’s a good starting point. Give it a read, FOUR STARS!!!!
5.0 out of 5 stars Worth to Read! 26 Oct. 2014

 This book is definitely awesome… I am not a parent yet, however, I enjoyed reading it and this book teaches us how to be more patient and understanding with our kids, on how to control our temper. The author stated that more often than not, some parents tend to be so strict and overprotective. Well, I think it’s understandable since it’s your child/kid so you really want to protect them as much as you want, as much as you can, but sometimes over protection can be suffocating and it can lead some kids to become rebellious. So I like when the author stated that sometime let our kids make some ‘light’ mistake so that they’ll learn from it and become more independent. After all experience is the best teacher as they say. I recommend this book for everyone especially to all of the parents, parents to be, and planning to become a parent.
5.0 out of 5 stars A great help for a single father like myself 25 July 2014

This book is very interesting for me as I'm a single father and sometimes just talking to my son doesn't work. Yet, now I can use neuro linguistic programming so that the words I use are more effective on him and hopefully I won't have to keep repeating myself and him making the same mistakes.

The book itself is very nice, well formatted, easy to read, easy to navigate on. I was able to learn about the importance of creating values and setting boundaries. I particularly need to be more firm on the boundaries part with my son. There is a lot more in this book, i'm sure it will help many parents.

Parenting is one of the hardest jobs in the world to do properly and being a child can be some of the most confusing and difficult times especially in this day and age.
Is fairly short but is easy to understand and to the point.
I will not give parents a set of instructions to follow and rather it seeks to improve a parents ability to parent by improving the parents mindset, which I believe is the best place to start.
If you are looking to improve your parenting by tackeling the underlying issues the I would recommend this book.
