The instructions given are pretty basic and could have gone into much more detail. All the designs featured have clear patterns and good photographs, together with step by step instructions, which I liked. The designs range from very simple to more complicated and many could easily be tackled by a novice. This is an Australian book and contains many designs appropriate only in that country. One disappointment is that all the designs are for greetings cards and this does not show how versatile parchment craft can be.
