With push button automatic ignition just a touch from it's high temperature flame disrupts the cell structure of weeds, causing them to wither and die within a day or two without using expensive toxic chemicals. Wish I had read Julian review before placing my order. Do not buy the perfect partner(4 butane gas canisters)shown for this product has they are not compatible.

The product is very good, however the Perfect Partner is not compatible with the wand and amazon do not stock the type you needs so do not make my error!

I bought this as a "greener" alternative to weed killer but it's not very effective. It will kill shallow rooted weeds but the rest grow back very quickly- within days. The gas is expensive at £4 odd a throw and lasts no time. Try vinegar -its cheap, green and works!
