Product Description

The infamous Odenbrook Sanitarium closed after a mass suicide occurred within its walls. Sixty years later, six college students armed with cameras and recording equipment venture into the asylum to prove the existence of the paranormal. Thrills turn into nightmares as members of the group go missing without a sound, cell phones mysteriously vanish, corridors turn into mazes, walls appear where doors once stood, flashlights fail and something or someone begins toying with the group.

Days later, when five of the six friends turn up missing, the lone survivor must go through the recovered footage in order to clear his name and find out what happened to his friends.

2.0 out of 5 stars Overall, a really poor effort! 21 Aug 2012
Format:DVD
***Spoilers contained***

I bought this just because of the blurb on the back, and the cool look of the cover! They are the best parts really.

It starts off alright, with a short video intro from all of the characters, but randomly thrown in are some random shots of a home filmed sex tape! random, and useless!!

Anyways, the inevitable happens and the group get locked into this haunted asylum! It then picks up, with some spooky things happening, like doors slamming, and voices being heard, at this point I thought it wasn't so bad. But then people start to die!

It may have just been the way in which it was filmed, which does look cheaply done, but the deaths are dull and tacky looking.

I wont say much more, but people die badly, and theres it ends on a very confusing note. A really poor effort thats was just trying to tag onto the 'home video horror' genre which is becoming ever popular.

Until its a few quid in the bargain bin, I wouldn't bother!

1.0 out of 5 stars Awful, tacky waste of time. 6 Jan 2013
By Andy
Format:DVD
One of the many cheap knock-off movies trying to cash in on the success of 'Paranormal Activity'. Featuring an annoying range of the usual stereotypical horror movie characters put into a supernatural scenario with a bunch of 'scares' that were anything but. Played out like one of those 'found footage' films, you'll never be believe it's supposed to be such a thing due to silly effects and editing, and the presence of a soundtrack - unless surveillance cameras really do come fitted with their own musical score, it only serves to take you out of the movie - which, to be honest, can only be a good thing.
It looks like a cheap student film project, and the cover of the dvd really is the only decent thing about it.
Just terrible. Don't waste your money.
