Elliot Minor stormed onto the scene in late February 2007 with their debut single making it on to Kerrang, The Hits and The Box. When I heard Parallel Worlds on Kerrang, it thought it was fantastic, so i decided to get downloading and listening to Parallel Worlds so much more.

But I needed more Elliot Minor songs and their other songs continue to impress - get downloading or listen to the demo's on their My Space. OK, so i said Parallel Worlds is an awesome song, but wait until you have heard the rest, She Get's Around, Time After Time and the fantastic Forgetting You - a truly amazing song.

Its great how they manage to blend great vocals with rock and classical music, a bit of the keyboard - a great combination.

I highly reccomend this band - a contender for a future number 1 or many number 1's - really great music and songs that are so easy to get into.

Get their music now!!!

I remember when the band were originally called "The Academy" and now i heard they got a record deal i'm over the moon. Parallel worlds is definitely the must have rock single this spring! its catchy and has all the rock elements you need. forget busted, this is the proper rock stuff.

I will admit that I am the person who of the odd occasion is very rarely likely to listen to emo based pop and/or rock a la Fall Out Boy or Panic! At The Disco. But I do make exception for our own Elliot Minor, and this single elaborates on why I'm fond of their music particularly.

Rather like their previous releases "Jessica" and "Still Figuring Out", there is something boundary breaking about them that makes them a good pop band in my eyes. On "Paralell Worlds" not only do they come up with these fantastic vocal arrangements and catchy hooks but they are genius enough to combine it with crashing guitars and hints of euphoric string sections.

In short, they are probably, in my opinion, best filed alongside the adrenalin packed stadium pop that the likes of All American Rejects and Matt Willis have provided us with also. Definitely worth investigation.
