Written by Eleanor Ayer, Parallel Journeys is the tale of two people as they experienced world war two. One of the people, Alfons Heck, a leader in the Hitler Youth. The other Helen Waterford, a German Jewish women. When Alfons is leading the Hitler Youth into battle, Helen is struggling to stay alive. A true story that is sure to keep the reader turning the page to find what happens during the parallel journeys of Helen and Alfons.

dont buy this book unless you are 12 years old. sadly this book was on sale in the adult section. it is a child's book, should be in the children's or educational/schools section. i read the first page only, the style is not to an adults taste.
