Product Description

Product Description

Midgard is in danger. The BloodPact, a barrier between the Gods and their hells, is under threat. Prophecy declares that Jormungand, the world serpent, will be unleashed at the dead city of Ragnarok.
A small band of heroes is thrown into a war that could end their world and only they hold the knowledge of the weapons that could save it. Mjolnir, Megingjord and Iarngreiper, and a legend who has the strength to wield them, can halt the powerful enemy if found in time.
Friendships and unlikely alliances are forged and tested in a world seemingly facing annihilation as the newly formed Paragons are forced to confront Loki, a shaman once imprisoned by Odin, who now seems eager to bring Midgard to its knees.
This is a refreshingly new but satisfyingly familiar take on the legend of Thor's great and powerful weapons. It is very much a fictional interpretation of norse mythology.

This is a great read! If you like fantasy, this is the book to get your teeth into. Great language, epic story-line and simply enthralling. I never wanted to stop reading, and for the author's first book, it certainly is an excellent piece of work.

5.0 out of 5 stars Paragons of Midgard 24 Oct 2012
Format:Kindle Edition|Verified Purchase
Havn't finished reading this book yet but I am enjoying it immensely. I am surprised it is the authors first attempt at writing but his enthusiasm for the genre is obvious. The characters are well written and interesting and really draw you in. I am looking forward to finishing the book to find out what happens but also loathe to finish it as I am enjoying it so much.

5.0 out of 5 stars Paragons of Midgard- the good read. 21 Oct 2012

The book is extremely well written as the author give such depth to each character, allowing them to thrive in the novel. I feel the length of chapters slightly breathless as there is so much information, however without the detailing I would not have felt so absorbed by the environment and so attached to the characters. Look forward to future novels.
