Thanks Mark! 4 May 2012

This is arguably Mark Burgess' best solo collaboration.
And it was very fruitful with Yves Altana. (The album, Zima Junction was superb).
Paradyning cracks open with Sin. You listen. You think, ah this is a grower. Im gonna get a few drinks and love this later.
And then the songs open on out and envelope you.
Money won't save your soul! Always Want, Silver, Inhaling, World Without End.Stop Talking.

Paradyning.... 11 April 2008
Format:Audio CD
You Opened My Mind (Then The Acid Kicked In), genius!! Pure Pop for 3 or so minutes then boom... the acid kicks in, reminiscent of Bowie's Ashes To Ashes, what a groove!!

Money Won't Save Your Soul, brilliant production, and the line "but if you can cry..." is the knee tremble moment of this cd for sure...

Adrian Be... well it was with this song I discovered the work of Adrian Borland, and their started another love affair, and what a beautiful tribute this is to his legacy, and what he stood for, always the music, always. 4 years after this record Mark would record with Adrian on his final completed work, the track was Digging For Water, the meeting of THE best two songwriters that I personally, have ever heard.

Inhaling is probably the albums highlight, sweeping guitars and a brilliant lyric... "I think i'd rather face the fire than the madness of the screaming hour"... we've all been here no??

Anyways, there are a few of my highlights, get this album and pick your own, as they are endless!!

Brilliant 18 May 2005
By Adrian
Format:Audio CD
I've just noticed that no-one has written a review for this album. Come on - it's brilliant. One of the few albums that can stand comparison with the ever glorious "Strange Times". Every track is a classic.
