This volume is the last installment in the X trilogy(Earth X, Universe X and Paradise X) by the same authors.

The premise that started this last volume was excellent; as throuout the saga the moral dilemmas are there, getting more and more complex as pages turn. However about half way through the volume II the big eversurprising picture starts wearing out really quick.

Ross and Krueger were told by Marvel they epic was ending earlier than they had expected so the end seems to be rushed and none consequencial to earlier events in the saga even leaving many loose ends.

Ross admitted he was not fond of many of the heroes making apperiances through the whole Universe-Paradise X archs. It can be seen as sheer fan power to include them in this multiverse X; such as Wolverine and it clearly makes no justice to this character or many others forced in the storylines.

Overall the X trilogy has been the most complex superhero reading I have found in the last years, I enjoyed every page of it specially the dicussions between X-51 and Uatu in Earth X.

Not the classical superhero with superpowers against the overscheming villain. All volumes are written and drawn by guys thinking outside the box coming up with the biggest picture ever in the Marvel universe.

The trilogy is a must read for anyone who was ever into Marvel and wants to read a version of their book of Relevations.

Could have been better 22 Feb 2004
By Jerry A. Taylor - Published on Amazon.com
Format:Paperback
This volume completes the Paradise X series and I was disappointed in the finished product. A number of story lines were left incomplete; in fact, the book had a very rushed and hurried feel to it. It was if Krueger and Ross ran out of steam to finish the tale and simply threw something together to make the deadline.

While not in the league of The Watchmen or the Sandman series, it is an acceptable diversion for a lazy Sunday afternoon.

Loved it! 5 Sep 2009

Beautiful artwork, solid and compelling story and the character development was so well done I had to keep reading to see what was around ever turn for every single character.

Great but unfinished 23 July 2004
By B. Liebman - Published on Amazon.com
Format:Paperback
I've loved this the entire X series, the Earth Xs, Universe Xs, and Paradise Xs. They encompass the entire Marvel Universe and redefine it, connecting every flailing strand in the comicverse together. Paradise X worked well to further the tale, though left me wanting more. There were still some loose threads at the end which I hope will be tied up in future X issues (anyone know if there will be some?). Hopefully there will be.
