Format:Audio CD
The second of the three Lilac time Albums to be re-released and re-mastered contains the origial album plus Nick Duffy's Instrumental album.I bought it because this is the only Duffy album I haven't got on CD-I've got the record of course!

Stand out track for me is 'The Lost Girl in the Midnight Sun'-a gem! This was played Twice on 'The Music in Colors' Tour-first and the last song if anyone out there can remember.

It sounded fantastic played with chello and violin.

The Tracks by Nick Duffy are folk, weird and great!!

You can dance a jig to the Australian Worm and the Rubovia slows you down !!If you're knew to Duffy buy The Lilac Time and then buy this if you like what you hear!!Then buy all the others.

Music in Colour is the Best!-I thought it was rubbish when I heard it for the first time-Listen to it the dark if you can.

Timeless and Brilliant 5 Aug 2003
By Stace Karussos - Published on Amazon.com
When will Stephen Duffy get the credit he is due? He writes brilliant songs. This is my favorite Lilac Time album. Every song has it's own style and feel, yet all are signature Lilac Time. With every listen the songs get better and better.

Possibly Duffy's best work 4 Jun 2001
By John Lucey - Published on Amazon.com
Paradise Circus, the Lilac Time's second album of pastoral folk pop, is perhaps Stephen Duffy's strongest collection of songs to date. Building on the strengths of the eponymous debut, PC finds the Lilac Time mining their favorite topics: casually beautiful girls, the English countryside, and love, of course. Highlights of the cd include the America(the band, that is)-sounding "American Eyes," the propulsive "Days of the Week," possibly the Lilacs finest song in "The Girl Who Waves at Trains," the bouncy "Rollercoaster Song," and the perfect hazy closer "Work for the Weekend."

This album may be the best starting place for new fans until the Lilac Time retrospective Compendium is released July 2nd. Also check out "Looking for a Day in the Night" and Duffy's "I Love My Friends," both available on affordable American editions!

again, on time, but should have been 4 dollars or less for the used item, and it could have arrived faster.
