A funny and insightful look into the somewhat ridiculous mind of the middle aged man. Told through the guise of surf lessons it pokes fun at the world and culture of surfing in a sharp and humorous way.

As a long-time fan of Papersurfer's blog, I had high expectations of Penfold Crockett and this book did not disappoint. I laughed from the first chapter to the last, this is the perfect book to take to the beach this summer. A great read for those who are surf-curious, this book is written in a style that is easy to read and guaranteed to make you smile. Even for those who are surf-challenged, Papersurfer is hilarious! Not sure how many stars to give this, I like the quality of the writing but I just feel I should warn people as to the quantity!
It's not a book, it's a pamphlet - there are only 70 pages, the font is huge, there are massive gaps in between paragraphs (of which there are many), there is a new chapter every other page and half of it appears to be extracts from his blog. I could read the whole thing in twenty minutes. 6.99 is ridiculously overpriced, I am severely disappointed and I am going to send it back.
