I used these pens for many years because the ink does not 'bleed' through the paper like many other pens do, and they give a strong colour with lines of about 1mm wide which I like. However, a year or two ago, they disappeared from the market place and I had to rely on cheap pens that were made in packs of many colours, for use by children. Then these too disappeared from the market place! So I was very pleased when I saw these Papermate pens on Amazon and I bought several boxes of them. In fact, the children's pens were every bit as good as the Papermate pens, and even though I had to buy them in packs of 6 or 10 or even 20 - just to get a blue one - they worked out cheaper than the Papermate ones. Having said that, I have no hesitation in giving the Papermates 5 stars.
