I have some experience in paper-making and bookbinding, and was looking for something a bit different. If there had been a "look inside" option for this book, I don't think I would have bought it. Its not a bad book in terms of instruction and pictures, but it does rely heavily on raw materials that might not be easily accessible for most people. A lot of time and equipment seem to be required, and while not necessarily costly, could be annoying for someone who wanted to do something different for the weekend, or with their children. In my opinion it's not a book for beginners, and I didn't really learn any new techniques or ideas that hadn't already interested me enough to try before.
