This is an excellent book, so much so I have bought 3 copies as mine kept disapearing to other family members.I have even sent one to australia for my niece who loved it. The folds are a challenge but well worth the effort.

4.0 out of 5 stars Paper craft. paper art 14 July 2012
Format:Paperback
This book is full of beautiful projects to make out of the most essential craft material of all: paper. It is not (just) about origami, it's a great introduction to a whole range of papercrafts, including iris folding, teabag folding and various things I had never previously heard of, such as modular folding and Tata-ori.

Instead of creating a host of impractical origami ornaments, projects include a picture frame, a bag, suncatchers, greeting cards, and all sorts of other creative - in some cases breath-catching - applications. The instructions are easy to follow, and clear step-by-step photos throughout make a finished piece that might look beyond your capability suddenly achievable.

If you look through this book, I guarantee you will be captivated. A brilliant resource for any crafter.

3.0 out of 5 stars Paper Fold It 11 July 2008
By J. Lapham - Published on Amazon.com
Format:Paperback
I found this book somewhat helpful. There are sections on origami, iris folding, tea bag folding, tissue folding, modular folding and others. But because the author covers so many aspects of paper folding, he cannot do justice to any one of them. There are nice color pictures and the directions are clear and easy to follow. I was just hoping for some new ideas and patterns which I did not find in this book. I would recommend this book for beginning paper-crafters but not for those who have a good collection of books on crafting with paper.

5.0 out of 5 stars Glad to have this one back! 14 Jan 2013
By Hippiechick - Published on Amazon.com
Format:Paperback|Verified Purchase
I lost this book to fire damage three years ago. I'm so glad to have it back. I ordered it nearly new and it certainly is. An old friend back on my shelf. This book teaches paper folding techniques for boxes, cranes, stars, decorative ornaments and iris folding, paper roses, etc. I still have a long way to go before I'm an expert, so it's handy to have the instructions. The diagrams are easy to follow and skills build before you know it.
