The author shows us many types of techniques to reach our final
finished objects. This is great for learning different aspects of what
essentially become curios and interesting focal point pieces.
The range of work possible is explored more broadly, and the
overall guidance is useful and practical.

5.0 out of 5 stars Paper & Fabric Mache 30 Mar 2000
By Kathy Lewis - Published on Amazon.com
Format:Paperback
This is a great book, it deserves five stars, Dawn Cusick , a talented artist, includes many other ideas from other fine artist also. There is ideas for every occasion , from Easter with the instant mache bunnies to birthday party piñatas you make from paper and glue from around the house . You will enjoy creating your own designs using Dawn's no mistake recipes, she has a great technique section , and she shows you all the tools for any beginner to start creating . Paper or fabric that you would have thrown into the land fills , instead you can feel good about making something as small as costume jewelry . Halloween is a real fun time with all the different mask you can create! You got to get this one if you are a designer!

5.0 out of 5 stars fun for the family 30 April 2009
By sedona artist - Published on Amazon.com
Format:Paperback
This is a treasure trove of beautiful and fun projects in paper mache and fabrics. There is something for everyone in the family here. Picnic basket, doggie bed, figures, wall hangings, animals, planters, bowls, jewelry are just a few of the 100 projects in this book. Full color photo's and instructions to follow or use as a springboard for your own imagination. My stash of fabric remnants from quilting has come in handy. I have made accessories for the bedrooms that match the quilts. There are plenty of projects for the kids too. Piñatas, beads for jewelry making, hats, Halloween and Christmas ornaments. It's been a great outdoors activity at the picnic table for me and the kids. I'm going to make the Victorian style boxes next. The kids want to do the honey bear and a clock for their dresser. Plenty of delightful projects for the family and friends this summer.
