I thought this product was great. I did buy it for myself, as I got into making paper beads again and was struggling with a cocktail stick for winding the beads. This book comes with a tool that has a slit in it to hold the paper. After doing a lot of research, which finished when I found this book, Amazon is the only place to get this tool in the UK!
This book would still be great if I payed the RRP of £9.99!

The paper pieces in this pack are a bit thick and can be hard to roll, but once you get used to it, they make wonderful beads. The book comes with everything you need, but I would recommend (the book also suggests this) that you get some PVA glue to glue the beads together and then use the glaze to finish the beads so that the glaze lasts longer. I think, though, that the glaze is watered down PVA anyway so you'll be able to make your own. The bottle of glaze has a brush in the lid (like nail varnishes) so is easy to apply.

The other good thing about the book, is it is sprial bound, and will always lay flat, so you won't lose your page when you are trying something.

My nine-year old daughter loves this kit. She enjoys choosing the shapes and designs, and makes a few beads at a time before making them up into a bracelet. The instructions - as with most Klutz books - are very clear and beautifully presented. I like the set too because it comes complete with everything you need - the precut papers, the rolling tool, glaze, cocktail sticks and pad for drying the beads, and some small glass beads and string to finish the jewellery. Once the papers have run out you can use the template to create your own. Great fun, and at the price I paid for it, great value too.

purchased for children 7+, hours of fun, needs concentration and patience but rewarded with beautiful beads which make lovely jewellery. A big success! Plenty of paper pre-cut with various designs.

i gave this as a gift to my teenage daughter who is rather creative, and she loved it. What is lovely about this product is that you can create a truely unique necklace or bracelet by just making and combining the beads in unique combinations. My daughter has been busy creating personal designs for each of her friends. Extra paper can be bought from the Klutz website or one can source it onself.

This kit is well worth the money. fun to do and easy with high quality product and the book is well written. I bought is as I have to make beads as part of a course I'm on, and having never done it before, I thought I'd start with a basic kit. Although technically you could say this is for a much younger customer, I'm 41 and I really love it - it's really addictive too!

Bought for daughter's 8th birthday. She likes doing them and says she found doing them "easy". I was pleasantly surprised by how good the finished beads look. And you can use any scraps of paper to make more once the paper supplied is finished. Last comment from daughter "they're really good!".

My daughter loved this and has had hours of fun making the beads and bracelets. Not too difficult and my daughter (age 7) was able to do it without help and supervision once set up and shown. Good price and lovely printed paper strips. Got several more sets as ideal birthday presents.

Fun book and ejoyed by the recipient, but looked a bit poor since the cover was warped. I suspect it had been stored in a damp place, or in a space that was too small for it.
