This is the first review I have posted for a product on Amazon, despite having used the site for several years. I am posting only because of the absolutely stunning results I have had from using Panoxyl 10 wash.
I am 30 and have suffered from acne from around 13 years old. It comes and goes in terms of ferocity, but for almost as long as I can remember I have had spots of some sort. My skin has a high oil content and in combination with sensetive skin and a wiry beard I have been prone to severe outbreaks.
From small whiteheads to large, red, boil-like spots on my neck, I have suffered from every type of acne imaginable.
I bought this product based on reviews already posted on the website. I had hit a low in terms of confidence as my neck beneath my chin was covered in painful red sores and no area of my face had escaped the breakout.
I sought a different product as all the store bought, popular brands had absolutely no effect on me. The price was fair (compared to high street brands) and the reviews favourable so I bought it with nothing to lose. I had tried everything else available, short of the Isoretonin that my brother used for his severe back acne.
It genuinely has been the best thing I have ever bought, and I include a car and holidays in that!
After about 2 weeks, and despite some dry skin patches, my skin had almost completely cleared and no new spots had formed. I used it in combination with the Panoxyl 10% cream and now, a further 3 weeks down the line, my face is virtually spot free!
Gone are the painful lesions on my neck and cheeks and I am finally able to wet shave for the first time in years (I have used an electric beard trimmer for about 5 years).
I am stunned by the results of using the two Panoxyl products and would reccomend them to anyone who suffers from a similar afliction. Not only has the physical pain of the spots gone away, but the psychological effects have dissapeared.
I am no longer conscious of my face when I am out socialising or shopping, which in turn has increased my confidence (ladies you have been warned!).
The only downside to the cream is that if you use it at night your face bleaches your pillowcases. Which, being a single man, has caused some sly comments from my flatmate.
However, minor emabarrassment aside, this really is worth the small price you pay. I have been using it daily, sometimes twice, for 5 weeks and haven't yet used half the bottle.
