When people call Meyer a dirty old man, you can usually defend him, pointing to 'Faster Pussycat' or 'Motorpsycho' but 'Pandora Peaks' is Meyer as a dirty old man, it's like a Benny Hill sketch which runs for 70 minutes even though there's really only 30 minutes of watchable footage, it's got irritating sound effects, a comedy whistle every time a bra comes off and a dogs squeaky toy effect when a nipple's touched and the voiceover's are either ridiculous or boring.
The Girls? Well, Pandora Peaks mentions her boobs are real a couple of times but she might want to look up the word 'gravity' in a dictionary and all the way through the film she strips, then strips again, then strips again, then, well, you get the picture, having said that, some of the worms eye view shots of her starkers are pretty spectacular. Candy Samples name appears on the cover but she doesn't appear until the last 10 minutes but she does manage to hold a baseball bat in her cleavage in that time, Leosha gets less air time than your local weather and the highlight for me was Tundi who does have real knockers, spectacularly real and who is at one point wearing nothing but a pearl necklace.
'Finders Keepers..' is a 60s film, a heist gone wrong but it's no 'Reservoir Dogs', it's more like an episode of 'Columbo' with strippers, an afternoon melodrama with boobs but it does have the bowling ball buttocked Anne Chapman and there's a great underwater nooky scene which the makers of 'Showgirls' must've seen although the actor involved had to get a body double because he didn't want to get his rug wet!
I'm not saying theses films are bad, they're just very average, Meyer on auto pilot, Meyer as a pastiche of Meyer, what I would advise is to buy the box set (under £20 as I write), watch the good stuff first and the poor mans Meyer last.
