This is the best internet security we have ever had, as recommended by a friend of ours who is a an IT specialist. It blocks adware and spyware extremely efficiently and you can view a report of what was trying to get into your computer. I'm no techie, but a list of 200+ reports a day suggests it's doing it's job and my computer is working much more efficiently than it did when I used ZoneAlarm and McAfree. (as soon as we added Panda, it found Trojans and Worms that other services hadn't identified!)

The problem the first reviewer identified happens when you don't remove the standard Windows firewall and/or the previous software package you were using. It also has a slight delay in recognising your new internet account. Remove all other firewalls and protection software, register online, then wait for the e-mail to come before you log in. Hey presto- I'm not techie either, but it works brilliantly for me and my partner (BTW- as soon as you register you get 3 licences on all Panda software, so you only need to buy one copy even if you have multiple computers in your home)

In the last year I've used Norton, Bullguard and Panda's security suites. Once you have got to grips with each of them there does not seem to be much to choose between them.
Until you have a problem that is. Panda's support by email was excellent and after a 24hour delay when I first contacted them, they replied quite quickly. (Usually within about 3 hours). It was obvious that someone was actually reading my emails and thinking before replying.
My experience with Norton about 3 years ago was that they just scanned my email sent me a pre prepared reply that didn't address my problem.

I have used Panda for the last 3 years - It loads in OK and provides a very good protection to my computer. I have never suffered and problems with the use of this product. Once or twice I have contacted customer support in connection with software updates, each time I had a prompt reply. I have used an alternative product in the past, but changed on the advice of a computer engineer, as I was advised this product was better value for money.
