I bought this epilator a few months ago, as I had both heard and read that using a wet&dry type in the bath is a lot less painful that using it dry - and it's true!
The instruction booklet suggests using "liquid soap" on the epilator before applying it to your wet skin. I experimented with different variations of this (hand soap, shampoo etc) and I have found the best results with the type of shower gel that comes in a can and foams up, similar to shaving gel. This provided the most painless experience for me. You could of course indeed use shaving gel. You only need a tiny blob and this will last 10 mins or so before you have to add more.
We all know that you are never going to get pain free epilating, (especially the bit on the front of the ankle - ouch!) but this epilator I have found to be a much more comfortable experience than previous ones I have had. You also get slightly less of the chicken skin effect afterwards!
The battery lasts well for a good 45 mins use at least. If I charge it before I need to use it then I find it never runs out part way through.
It is also a nice shape to hold and get a good grip on, though I do find at certain angles I keep switching it off accidentally.
The different heads are useful, I use the smaller head for more sensitive areas like feet and backs of the knees, and the main head for most other areas. I have not tried out the foot care head so I cannot comment on this.
I would recommend this epilator to someone who would like to make epilating more relaxing and less painful.
Treat yourself to a nice soak in a hot bath for a bit before you start (open up the pores and the hairs come out more easily), stick plenty of moisturiser on afterwards, and away you go.

Firstly the the foot file is a great attachment. Its quick and very easy,its smoothes down rough skin really quickly. I would recommend putting a towel down because as it smoothing the skin on the feet its taking off the hard skin meaning that there is a build up of dead skin( which looks like a powder).Thats the only attachment that can only be used dry, and for best results make sure your feet are dry as well.
The nature of the on/off button makes itr seay to switch off mid epilation as i have done that qiute a few times already. The gentle cap is good for begginers or people that are a bit scared of epilating (like myself) i find its best to epilate while having a nice warm bath, yes it still hurts a bit( just feels like little pricks) but its no where near as bad as dry epilation TRUST ME!!!
I think it would make a good gift but only if your sure the person wont take offence.
I love the fact that it only takes an hour to fully charge and the light blinks every second to tell you that the battery is fully charged. On a full charge you can get about 50 mins use.
A good product for beginners and experts alike.

I've been using epilators for years but I've never tried a wet dry one and I liked the idea of being able to use this in the bath .
This is the most effective epilator I've ever bought, the two rows of tweezers really do make epilating faster as you don't have to go over sections more than once, as the second set of tweezers will get what the first set didn't. I found that epilating in the bath, while my skin is warm, completely painless for me (but I've been epilating for years so my skin is used to it). I found the battery charge was more than enough to epilate arms, legs and bikini line.
The foot file is a fantatic addition, I found this incrediably fast and effective and the results far out do any other hard skin remover on the market. My feet now feel completely soft and I could see the results as I went.
This is a product that I will definitly be recommending to friends!!
