I bought this to mount a Panasonic P42GT20B plasma tv on the wall in my lounge.
The bracket comes in 2 main parts the 1st part attaches to the wall and allows you to pull the TV away from the wall and angle it horizontally.
The 2nd part of the bracket allows tilting vertically towards the floor or ceiling. I have mounted my tv high enough so that my children can't reach it and then have angled the screen downwards. This part of the bracket attaches to the other part via 6 fairly chunky nuts and bolts.
The wall attached part of the bracket is very heavy and you need to be strong to hold it to the wall in position with a spirit level on top while marking the holes to drill.
The 2nd part of the bracket is a lot easier to fit, with part of it attaching to the tv and the other part attaching to the wall mounted part of the bracket. The TV attached part then hooks over the other part and is then screwed at the bottom to secure it.
I wouldn't be without this brackets swivel option, I can lay on the sofa playing xbox with the tv pointed towards me or have the tv pointing at the dinner table.
I think they could have improved the bracket by adding a small spirit level on the wall attached part or by including a template. It is a very solid bracket though and I am confident that it would continue to securely hold my TV long after I decide I need a new 4D/super HD tv.
