Product Description

Manufacturer's Description

HD Model with Wide Viewing Angle, Superb Moving Picture Quality and Advanced Networking Capabilities. The wide 178° viewing angle* ensures clear images even when viewed from an angle. The backlight's wide transmission aperture enhances the contrast between light and dark, and improves motion-image response. * Measured at an angle where the contrast ratio is 10:1 or higher.

Enjoy realistic starlit skies right in your living room. Improvements in panel contrast and scene-adaptive contrast gamma correction have achieved a high contrast ratio of 40,000:1. The backlight tuning area is also expanded to achieve deeper blacks.

VIERA Link allows interconnected operation of various AV devices using only the VIERA remote control, by simply connecting the devices to each other by an HDMI cable. VIERA Link performance has been further enhanced with LUMIX digital camera connection. By connecting a new LUMIX camera that has an HDMI output terminal to VIERA, you can use the VIERA remote to control the playback of images stored on the camera.

It's easy to view full-HD images with the SD card slot. Watch and show your photos and motion images right after you take them. Simply insert an SD Memory card into VIERA to display photos and full-HD videos on the large screen. You can also choose from among 3 types of background music and 4 display effects.

V-Audio Surround gives depth-sound-image effect by early-reflection data based on actual room measurement, that is generated from digital signal processor.

The panasonic TX-L32x15B is a great tv, it has a 100Hz feature and 24p smooth film. The 100hz feature can be set to mid or max. I have left it on max and find it to improve the motion resolution well on movies and fast action sports. The picture quality is a step above the older model tx-32lxd80 it is sharper cleaner and the higher 20,000: 1 contrast ratio has improved the brightness too. There is also a auto standby feature and standby power save. The SD picture quality is very nice on most channels but it depends on the bit rate. HD is also displayed very well with better black levels than the older model. Overall it is a very good all round tv

    TLX32X15B LCD 10 Jun 2009
    By admarky
Having looked and researched older models and spent hours looking around the web, we went for this LCD and very pleased we did. It ticks all the right boxes in terms of build quality and offers 100hz which for us was important for sports and fast moving action shots.

We did think about going for full 1080 HD but having looked into it decided to go for HD ready as apart from Blue-ray little else is actually transmitted in 1080 and for a screen of this size it was not deemed necessary. It goes beyond last years award winning models with some changes to the ability to alter settings and Pro 4 instead of Pro3 processor. Having seen this and last years side by side there is a some small improvements to be seen.

We managed in the end to get it from a Panasonic shop with a free 5 year warranty, we paid a little more than the cheapest net prices without such a warranty.

Panasonic is quality that is easy to detect and we are very pleased and think is a great all round points scorer that deserves 5 stars.

    TX-L32X15B 1 Aug 2009
The 10B model is Which magazines best buy LCD. The 15B is the same but has the 100hz intelligent frame creation. I have just purchased the 15B from Amazon (usual top price & service) and i must say this TV is excellent. Out of the box i found the picture over saturated & too busy, so went to picture menu & changed viewing mode to cinema & contrast to three quarters. WOW what a difference, i mainly watch SD programs on freeview or sky & the picture now has great natural skin tones & is rock steady. I've been hanging on to my Sony CRT but am now a very happy LCD convert.
