Product Description

Manufacturer's Description

It's easy to view images with the SD card slot. Watch and show your photos right after you take them. Simply insert an SD Memory Card into VIERA to display photos on the large screen.VIERA Link allows the interlinked operation of various AV devices using only the VIERA remote control, by simply connecting the devices to each other by an HDMI cable.

In Game Mode, quicker image response increases the enjoyment of video games when a game console is connected to the TV. What's more, VIERA produces the dark images in video games more clearly. This mode works with the anti-image retention (wobbling) function, too.

V-Audio Surround produces a depth-sound-image effect by early-reflection data based on actual room measurement, that is generated from the digital signal processor.Equipped with a PC input terminal, it is easy to connect VIERA to a personal computer. PC screen images can then be displayed onto VIERA's large screen.

All-in-One Connectivity
Thanks to VIERA Link and SD Memory Card compatibility, Panasonic has made it as easy as ever for you to connect, control and share your digital entertainment. Working together with HDMI, VIERA Link gives you control over all compatible Panasonic products from a single remote. Automatically turn off all connected Panasonic devices or start up your entire Home Cinema System, just to name two functions – all using the VIERA TV remote control and user-friendly on-screen menu.

What is VIERA link?
Suppose you want to watch the latest film on a Blu-ray Disc: first you would have to turn the Blu-ray player on with your Blu-ray player remote control, and then you need to turn on your TV and select the correct AV channel input using your TV remote control. After that you would switch back to the Blu-ray player remote control and press 'Play'. In case you also have a Home Cinema System you would need another remote control to operate your Home Cinema System properly. So before you can lean back and enjoy your movie, you are forced to use three completely different remote controls. VIERA Link allows you to operate the three systems, your TV, Blu-ray player and Home Cinema System with just one remote control.

    Amazing angles! 8 Feb 2011
I love this little TV! In fact I also bought the same one in 22 inch for th lounge. The 19inch is for the kitchen. I have connected them both to a Bluray discplayer and a PC via a matrix switch box (wires run through the wall in between). The picture is wonderful and is amazingly clear, even when viewed from very wide angles. Unlike a laptop screen that can only really be viewed from straight on, this works great in small spaces (lke the kitchen) where people may be watching from quite different locations. That's really why I purchased the Panasonic. And it is worth it!

As computer screens they offer incredible real estate. You can really work with multiple screens at the same time. The resolution and performance with the PC are great (better than the standard, square 19 inch monitor that I will now junk). I did have to buy a new graphics card for the old tower PC but it was cheap (£35) and easy to install. Note that I have the entire set-up running on HDMI cables only, even from the PC. Also, I have both monitors hanging very nicely from the wall on Ergotron monitor arms (not cheap but fantastic!). Also, make sure you use a Panasonic bluray discplayer. The remotes work on both (you really only need one then) AND you can hook it up directly to the internet. Finally, the white color works very well in my light-coloured kitchen and also in the lounge against off-white walls.

PS - I don't even have the thing hooked up to watch "television". DVDs, PC, and internet are a treat with it!

We've omly had this set for a couple of weeks, but so far it seems fine. The image is good, and the sound is excellent for a small TV. The receiver is sensitive, giving good results on Freeview from our rather weak signal. Some reviewers have commented on the colour, but I find it quite inoffensive - a soft off-white, which goes quite well with our white kitchen walls.

It is quite expensive for a small TV, but we bought it on the strength of other reviews, as we particularly wanted decent sound quality, and so far we have not been disappointed.

    Brilliant!! 29 Mar 2011
I needed a new TV for the kitchen to replace an old analogue set plus digi box which was ageing in performance and untidy looking.
This little Panasonic set arrives early the day after I ordered it. It almost installed it's self including the analogue input from the Sky box in the living room.
Brilliant picture good sound and very low power consumption.
    An all round winner!
