Change your daily diet, with the Panasonic Bread Bakery.
Why the Bread Bakery does it better

Panasonic’s bread bakery programmes maintain the stability of the baking process regardless of the surrounding temperature. The yeast that helps bread to rise is a living organism extremely sensitive to heat. Because of this, the temperature at which the dough is kneaded, and any temperature fluctuations while the dough is rising, will affect the quality of the finished bread. If the temperature of the dough is too low, the yeast activity will slow down and, if too high, the yeast will overwork (if too hot, the yeast will die). Controlling the temperature of the dough is the key to producing delicious bread.
The comprehensive bake programmes mean you can try rye, whole wheat, or even brioche. And you can vary the loaf size to medium, large or extra large. The choice is endless… it’s up to you!
All programmes come with timer facility aside from gluten free, for which a timer would not work. Normally, the yeast is covered by the flour and water is added on top but, because gluten-free flour is lighter and finer, it cannot act as a barrier to stop the water activating the yeast before mixing begins. Instead, the water is added first and the baking process begins straight away.
If you have special dietary needs, the Panasonic Breadmaker makes life much easier by giving you complete control over every ingredient in your bread. For example, you can bake gluten-free or high-fibre loaves. In addition, you can manage your family's diet by controlling the amount of salt and sugar that goes into every loaf--a huge advantage over shop-bought bread.
Jam & Compote Mode

In 1987, Panasonic developed the first bread-making machine and it is the technological know-how obtained from two decades of experience that go into these top-quality models. Bread Bakery is equipped with a variety of useful functions to suit the different needs of all home bakers, from the beginner to the experienced. The unique advanced baking programmes enable you to bake a variety of excellent breads are controlled by a microprocessor. In it are countless number of programmes that vary per mode according to the ambient temperature, controlling time and temperature of each process very delicately. This takes the difficult job of temperature control out of your hands.
Everyone has a favourite kind of bread. Some like it thick and crusty, others soft and delicate. Well, with the crust control feature on our breadmakers, you can keep everyone happy, by selecting how thick you'd like the crust to be before you even start baking. There are three different sizes to choose from when you're baking a loaf. So whether you just want something to dip in your soup or a full loaf for the whole family, you'll never have to bake too much or too little.
As well as a super rapid option for when you're baking in a hurry, our breadmakers also incorporate a delay timer, so you can make sure your favourite loaf is baked to perfection when you wake up in the morning--or just in time for dinner.

Excellent!!,
This review is from: Panasonic SD-2500 WXC Automatic Breadmaker with Gluten Free Program (Kitchen & Home)
Bought this after having the urge to bake my own bread again after a few years of buying mass producedI did have a bread making machine a few years ago and it was hit and miss if you got a good loaf or not, mainly very heavy and yeasty smell I took the plunge again as technology I thought has progressed and I am glad I did. The machine arrived at lunchtime and I had my first homebread for dinner tonight. It was fantastic, very light not in the least stodgy smelt wonderful just like a village bakers, yes the paddle stuck but I did not oil it, this machine takes longer than others but for the quality of the bread it is worth the wait, if you are not sure which bread maker to get you will not go wrong with this one

Best Breadmaker ever,
This review is from: Panasonic SD-2500 WXC Automatic Breadmaker with Gluten Free Program (Kitchen & Home)
I have been making bread using breadmakers for quite a few years now and have had several breadmakers before this one, some quite good and used so much they just wore out, but some were quite useless. My last one was a real problem and I could not make a decent loaf despite the manufacturer having tested it and claimed there was nothing wrong with it - I eventually abandoned breadmaking as I was just wasting good ingredients. However it is so difficult to buy good bread that I decided to bite the bullet and after reading lots of reviews went for a top of the range model as it is used on an almost daily basis. Bingo. Every loaf is much better than I was ever able to produce with any of my previous models - I have done white bread, french bread, granary bread, and a tear and share loaf, and they have all been quite fantastic - light, soft texture, and a great flavour, so much better than my other machines using the same basic ingredients. So the moral of the story is don't waste money on cheaper models if you want good bread on a regular basis. The Panasonic SD-2500 is quite an expensive machine but it is worth every penny. The accompanying instruction manual with an extensive recipe selection is excellent, again much better than that provided with my other machines. The main drawback is no viewing window so I have had to stick a DO NOT LIFT LID sticker on the top to make sure others are not tempted to peep and ruin the result. Personally I do not think it is worth the extra cost to have the model with automatic dispenser for nuts, fruit, etc.

Having had 3 Morphy Richards and one Hinari (we won't go there !!!) breadmakers I decided it was time to give my son my old one and treat myself to a new model. I bought this purely on the strength of the reviews and am I glad I did ! This is ,by far, the best bread maker I have ever had. I used to make all my bread entirely by hand until my wrists couldn't stand the kneading any more ( I am 73 yrs old). This is easy to understand ,looks good in my kitchen and the results are GREAT :) . If you follow the instructions carefully you will not go wrong. All breadmakers leave the kneading paddle in the loaf at times but this is not a fault and I find it easy to get it out if you let the loaf cool a while. I am soooooooo impressed by this particular machine that I am going to buy one for my son for Christmas and he can throw away the old one I gave him as I now feel guilty for giving him an inferior machine. Amazon are Amaz-ing as I ordered mine at 6.30pm on Sunday evening and I was baking my first loaf by 12.30pm the next day (Monday)... GO there Amazon ! what great service.
