Slim Design with Wall Mount
The slim body of the HC35 is only 69mm depth at the thinnest point without its stand, which makes it ideal for setting on a shallow shelf or mounting on a wall. The innovative design means the stand of the audio system can be unscrewed and used as the wall bracket - therefore no need to purchase additional fixtures and fittings.
Faithful Digital Transmission
Digital music connection of an iPod or iPhone also allows the compact stereo system to process music signals in their original digital form. I bought this yesterday (not from Amazon, from another reputable dealer), and spent 2 hrs trying to get DAB reception with the T-wire antenna. Only managed to achieve a weak signal almost everywhere, which disappeared completely once the iPod was connected. Odd thing is that I placed the unit + aerial on the same shelf my old Intempo DAB/ipod dock system stood for years, where I had no reception problems at all.
The dealer I bought the hi-fi from refunded the full cost no argument, as they said that they've had similar models returned for the same reason (they can't get DAB reception in their Birmingham city-centre store!).
I know that the previous model had a similar issue with the aerial; it's a shame it doesn't seem to have been resolved with the current one.
Possible other gripes might be: it's slow to change radio station, and if you're trying to select songs from your iPod using the remote control you will be there a while. Otherwise, the sound is great and it looks very sleek.

Amazon Verified Purchase
I bought this as a present. CD, IPOD and Aux were essential. DAB was a nice to have - which is just as well - as it didn't work. Since it has arrived i have noticed other people posting similar comments so it was not just mine. nevertheless, everything else works and the user isn't too bothered about the DAB. The sound is good and the screen is easy to read - a bonus compared to the old system it replaced. The main reason for buying the Panasonic in preference to a Roberts MP40 or MP50 was because of the 'made for iphone' status - in that repect it is ideal. So... not quite what I was after but it will do.

this little unit is ideal for mounting on the wall and if you are short on space. its compact and neat. sound is good but if you want super loud sounds this is not the unit for you. don't get me wrong you can still jig around to it but it won't make the glass jump from the selves. I like it.....

doors failed to open-sent it back

Don't bother
