The Anti-Distortion Speaker features an uneven thickness for the rear surface of the speaker cone. This uneven thickness serves to suppress resonance, to produce clear sound with minimal noise. A Wi-Fi system is built right into the main unit, so you can enjoy VIERA CAST and BD-LiveTM content without having to connect the Blu-ray DiscTM player with a LAN cable or wireless LAN adaptor. *A wireless LAN environment is required. VIERA CAST with Skype lets you enjoy real-time visual communication on a large screen with faraway family and friends by displaying their images on the TV. Let the Panasonic's Skype-compatible Home Cinema expand your range of communication from the living room to the world. Two HDMI inputs are equipped on the main unit. This enables SC-BTT362 to set top boxes, game consoles, and other devices to be connected via HDMI to easily configure a 5.1-channel system. The Standby Pass Through function also conveniently allows signals from devices connected to the home cinema system to go to the TV even when the home cinema is turned off. The 2D-3D Conversion makes it possible to convert images from DVDs and Blu-ray discs into 3D with natural depth perception. So you can watch your prized DVD movie collection in 3D for even greater viewing enjoyment.

I bought this item as my 5.1 Philips home cinema system had given up the ghost. We use it in a relatively small room so the extra surroubd sound channels were not that critical. I was more concerned in having the flexibility to use multiple sources and that it be blu-ray compatible. With that in mind it has done everything I wanted to date. I have not tested the internet source yet. Only gripes to date is it does not handle flv file extensions and also some converted flv files. It is also quite slow to offer the menu for USB based devices.

The Panasonic cinema surround system is brill, easily set up through viera link, great sound quality and no distortion, speakers are a nice shape would recommend this system to anyone :-)

Excelent choice for smaller rooms, impressive video quality, good interface and access to online content on HD ( like Youtube!) !
The IPOD dock is great and gives you access to all of your mobile music!
The aditional HDMI inputs gives possibility to connect game console or satellite receiver!
Easy to unpack and mount- 10 minutes later you have it all put together!

This system is very easy to set up and gives a great sound. It is simple to use and I can control the volume from my TV which is great.

Great versatility
I am so pleased with this Blu Ray player. It sounds great with the TV as it provides depth to the sound which was a bit thin and tinny. It plays all formats e.g. CD/DVD & Ipod. Read more
