So far so good... it's true that there is MINIMAL hiss if you really try to listen for it, but the sound quality is really good. I do get lots of conflicting signals when searching for my own, but (luckily?) there are enough channels for this not being an issue. I do use the set in "ideal" conditions, i.e. 4 meters away from my TV set, when I'm about to go to sleep. I tried it a couple of times listening from the living room (say 10 meters away from base through walls and furniture) and the sound quality didn't seem to degrade, but then it was just 1 minute usage in such conditions. It takes a bit (30 seconds?) so tune the right channel but once you've got it, normally you don't have to do it again (unless you swipe the headset against something and that makes the wheel turn around, which I find unlikely (never happened to me so far). The only true disadvantage I find in this product is that the transmitting base and the battery charging base are the same object, which means you have to stand up and walk to the base to put the headset back so it re-charges its batteries overnight, just when you are about to fall asleep.Very annoying. But then, I haven't seen many headsets out there at this price range that will have a separate transmitter you can plug onto the TV set and charging base that you can plug just next to, say, your bed. Nevertheless, I'm definitively happy with the product.

Pro's: Very comfortable to wear even for longer periods, and the sound is loud and very clear. Easy set-up straight out of the box, took me about 1 minute to to get it ready unlike some other headphones I've had (like Samsung, which was the previous brand I tried). Also got 3 different channels to choose from, which is good if you are in an office where there might be multiple users. Come with re-chargeable batteries, and one load usually last me between 1-2 weeks which is impressive.

Cons: Only come in black, would have preferred more colours to choose from. And that's about it.

Verdict: You can't really go wrong with these headphones, and I would definitely recommend them to others. Another 10/10 for Panasonic.

very good quality head phones, cant go wrong with either Panasonic or sony infra red headphones
I say infra red because I have tried Bluetooth head phones and not as good as infra red ones.
these last for years, I use them for telly and pc and music.
I love the infra red ones as you can go everywhere round garden garage shed etc. with no distortion etc.
very pleased with item and delivery

There is no comparison to a Phillips pair which I recently bought purely to listen to music, These tick all the boxes but they did cost twice as much as the pair I review today. I had thought that a more economical pair would be ideal for the TV but I was wrong. In my opinion the construction of these Panasonic headphones is somewhat Mickey Mouse. I find that I need to retune them at least 4 times a week and their connection to the docking station is somewhat fiddly. In other words you get what you pay for.

The sound is adequate, although very twiddly to adjust to the proper channel. The support from both Panasonic and the supplier is nonexistant.
